A little bit about me

Hello to you all, whenever I travel and wherever I perform I often get asked, "So how did you get into music".

Music has always been a huge part of my life from as young I can remember. When I was 6 years old and I first watched Michael Jackson's Moonwalker movie I knew deep down that music and performance was all I ever wanted to do. Since I had that childhood dream I have always been involved in music and performance as it became my obsession not just my passion.

In 2013 I decided to dedicate my life to professional music as it has enabled me to grow in confidence, technique and raise my standards in all aspects of performance and production.

I am lifelong fan of the swing / jazz and modern music genres. When I was 18 years old and first heard Robbie William's album "Swing when you're winning album" I was hooked on the big band, jazz & Rat Pack style sound. My musical influences grow by the day and I have built a repertoire of music around my musical heroes and idols.

I am also a huge fan of Musical Theatre and West End shows. When I was 7 I went to see Joseph and the amazing technicoloured dream coat and sat in total silence for 2 hours simply spellbound at what I was watching.  This style of music has remained with me and inspired me to perform well known favourites from West End classics like Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Joseph and Chess to name a few.

Aside from Rat-Pack, swing, jazz and soul genres I also love listeing to a wide variety of artists including, Elvis, Josh Groban, Take That, Etta James, George Michael, Lionel Ritchie, Amy Winehouse, Robbie Williams, George Benson, Luther Van Dross and Stevie Wonder.

Thank you for your kind attention, I look forward to seeing you soon!

Best wishes,

Joe
